About the Anna Lindh Foundation

Welcome to the website of the UK’s network of the Anna Lindh Foundation. The Foundation seeks to improve and develop the dialogue between the cultures in and around 33 members of the European Union and the 10  Mediteranean partner countries (Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco)

Over 1,500 organisations in 43 countries are members of the ALF national networks. All share the aims of increasing and deepening cultural awareness and understanding across and around the European Union and the Mediterranean countries.   The Foundation is co-funded by the European Commission and the member countries.

The National Networks participate in the setting of the Anna Lindh Foundation programme and the grants policy, and develop their own initiatives, launching projects in collaboration with other Networks.

This website covers the activities of the members of the UK network.  Follow the links in the Pages column (or the tabs at  the top of the screen) to see what we are doing. If you wish to join go to “Want to join?” tab.
