Visiting Arts is submitting a proposal to the Anna Lind Foundation under its call for Long Term Programmes. They are looking for arts organisations from the Euromed region to partner us for the proposal.
Visiting Arts is piloting a project called 1Mile2 in 2009. This is an innovative global arts project that enhances the traditional artist residency, engaging people in an investigation of their attitudes to their neighbours, their communities and their environment. It links communities across the world in an on-line art work and dialogue to help break down negative stereotypes and, by working on a series of problems in common, devising new ways of working together to solve them.
