New Director appointed

Andreu Claret was appointed the new Director of the Anna Lindh Foundation by the Board of Governors (the ministries of foreign affairs of the 39 member states).

Andreu was the first head of the Spanish national network of the ALF when he was Director of the IeMED in Barcelona.  Most of his career has been in communications and media.

He will take over from the actiing director in June.

Dr Sara Silvestri of City University was appointed to the Advisory Council.

 

 

New ALF and 1001 Actions website

Both the ALF and 1001 sites have been updated and bear new features.

With over 1,500 registered users, representation from 37 countries across the Euro-Med region and exciting new features, 1001actions.org is fast becoming the essential online portal for euromed intercultural dialogue in 2008

The 1001actions.org website has been updated to help 1001 Action Members get more involved in the campaign and to develop their actions with partners, and promote their work to the world.

The actions section of the website has been opened to the general public. Each action group has its own unique web address allowing you to post a link to your pages on your own website and e-mails.

Users can now subscribe, rate and add comments to action groups. If an action group has been added, new documents, links, votes and blogs can be added to the action group page.
